Hi, I am Benson — founder of Air’tage.

I did not grow up flying in planes. I grew up near a military base in Nairobi, standing by the fence, watching fighter jets take off. I would close my eyes and imagine being up there — free, bold, unstoppable.

Years later, I earned my pilot’s license. Then I took my mom on a flight to Santa Barbara for lunch. She held my hand, looked out the window, and cried. That moment changed everything.

It led to the birth of Air’tage.

The name Air’tage blends two powerful roots:

• “Air”, from English — symbolizing freedom, movement, and flight.

• “Tage” Pronounced "Tagee" is from Scandinavian and European origins — meaning to take, to capture, or guarantor.

Together, they represent the spirit of adventure:
To take hold of the journey. To capture the moment. To guarantee your freedom.

Air’tage is not just a travel gear brand — it is a tribute to the ones who dare to dream of more. The ones who move. Who wander. Who chase freedom in every form — whether from a cockpit or a crowded gate at JFK.
